Freelance CANbus Specialist for Actec

Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled freelance CANbus specialist who can join us on a project basis to help integrate CANbus as a communication platform between our battery packs and equipment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our advanced battery solutions function optimally in collaboration with our customers' equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Development and integration of CANbus solutions in our custom-designed battery packs.
- Design of CANbus network architecture and configuration for various applications.
- Implementation and testing of CANbus communication between battery packs and customer equipment.
- Providing advice and technical support regarding CANbus protocols and communication.
- Troubleshooting and optimizing existing CANbus implementations.
- Documenting CANbus solutions and development processes.
- Collaborating with our engineering team and customers to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Participating in customer meetings and technical presentations to demonstrate solutions and technological possibilities.
- Training our team in basic and advanced CANbus technology and usage.

Qualifications:
- Experience with CANbus technology and communication protocols (e.g., CANopen, J1939).
- Experience with electrical systems and battery technologies, including lithium batteries.
- Strong skills in software development and programming related to CANbus (e.g., C, C++, Python).
- Experience using CANbus tools and test equipment (e.g., CANalyzer, CANoe).
- Knowledge of integrating CANbus into embedded systems and microcontrollers.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results within agreed deadlines.
- Analytical skills and experience in troubleshooting and solving complex technical problems.
- Experience with documentation and preparing technical manuals and reports.
- Knowledge of standards and safety requirements in CANbus communication.
