Product manager and co-owner Morten Nyborg can on 1 / 8-2018 celebrate its 25th anniversary at ACTEC A/S

After successfully passing the Higher Business Examination from the Business School in Randers, Morten started at ACTEC A / S as a wholesale business student on 1 / 8-1993, but even before that he had worked as an apprentice for the company packing battery assortments in the warehouse.

During his student days, Morten was assigned to a position for 4 months at Panasonic's European Battery Headquarters in Hamburg, which was the start of a long series of strong relationships at senior level in the Panasonic Group. Relationships that over the years have been further developed through numerous business trips to e.g., Japan, China, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, USA and a large number of European countries.

Through seminars and deep involvement in a large number of exciting projects, Morten has acquired an enormous amount of knowledge about batteries, and he has gained extensive experience of what it takes for companies to successfully enter the market with their products.

In Morten's 25 years in the battery industry, he has witnessed an enormous development. As Morten states, "the biggest challenge then was which way the departure terminals should point", where today it is somewhat more complex with various analyses, certifications, dangerous goods, logistics, etc.

Morten is today considered one of the strongest capacities in Scandinavia within battery technology, and he is a sought-after partner when it comes to batteries in various products. 

Thus, Morten has helped both Danish and foreign companies reaching goals with the battery part for their product. Be it battery packs for electric vehicles (electric bikes, wheelchairs, prams, etc.), cordless / radio telephones, wind turbines, street lighting powered by solar cells and battery, robots, tracking equipment for fleet management, smoke ventilation, refrigerated containers, heating control, medico equipment, etc.
